2018 Snowy Mountains Winter Season Extended

With the recent announcement that the snowy mountains have received the most snow in 14 years, popular ski resorts have extended their open season. Perisher among others have experienced snow depths of up to 2 meters! The Winter season has now been extended until the 7th of October 2018.

This will allow more people to enjoy skiing, snowboarding and other various snow activities with their friends and family. Another bonus would be that the extended winter season coincides with the October school holidays. So expect to see lots of kids on the slopes, soaking up the fun and enjoying themselves.

Also keep an eye out for some awesome events coming up in the following months including the Pete Murray Music Concert, Australian Mogul Championship, Australian Junior Free Ride Championship, Banked Slalom and Perisher Pond Skim among others. Most of these events are paid, but there are a range of free activities to take part in including free ski lessons for the kids.
